Disaster strikes, On Wednesday 19th Dec 2018, Jeff broke his G String peg on his Double Bass…yikes, we have a gig on Friday…
Thursday 20th Dec, we all rallied around, Paul whipped up a custom peg at work. We identified a backup Bass if needed. One of Jeff’s mates was also preparing another lathed peg.
Friday 21st Dec. Gig day. Jeff’s mate has pulled a blinder, above are the images of the finished article and the original. One new Oak peg.
