Well I never thought I would say that anything could be better than the Peavey kit, but….The Mackie Thump powered speakers rock, immense bass and pure crisp clarity in the vocal. We DI’d the Roland drums and the Double Bass and they handled the range of sound perfectly.
The weight of the speakers is astonishing, can easily carry both speakers together, one in each hand. Each Peavey weighed the same as a small car…!!!
